There are 2 kinds of world view in this life which are the pagan worldview, and the biblical world view. I will talk about three main ideas from the lecture which are the theism worldview, pantheism worldview, and about God’s creation in our life.
Theism is a belief system that belief on a God that is personal God, or a God that have a personality. Theism belief is the belief system that are being used by the Christian today, therefore, we belief that we have a personal God in our life that rules. From the cosmology point of view, we belief Opus Dei, which means God is the creator of the universe, heavens and earth. For the self application, now I need to change the way of my thinking. Usually I don’t really belief about how God created the heavens and earth, I belief more to the Deism worldview which sees the cosmology point of view which is base on the scientific, or the Pantheism worldview of the theory of the Big Bang. Now I learned that Moses wrote of how God created the heavens and earth from the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
The second worldview I will talk about is the Pantheism worldview. A Pantheism is a belief system that belief of the essence of God. It explains that they belief that God is everywhere and everything. They belief that in every single object, there are God in it, so Pantheism believers praise objects like statues, rocks, etcetera. In the cosmology point of view, they belief that the arrangement of the universe are based on luck and fate, and they belief in the Big Bang theory. For the self application, I learned that sometimes Christian people also do Pantheism belief by having objects that they belief will give them protection and good luck. I learned that I mustn’t go to my ancestor’s grave and do the Cheng Beng to appease my ancestor’s soul, base on my understanding, I know that doing such thing are Pantheism, which we mustn’t do or belief.
The last topic I want to discuss is about the creations of God and its arrangement. I learned that there is every meaning behind all commandments in the Bible and there are meanings behind all arrangement that God has made for His creation and the creation itself, for example the arrangement of the Solar system, of the Earth tilted just one degrees nearer to the sun, we will be burned to death, but if it tilted one degrees further form the sun, we will also be destroyed. God put the gigantic planet Jupiter after mars behind the earth so that it can protect the earth from striking meteors and asteroids. For the self application, I need to be grate full to the Lord for what He have arranged for me in my life, because there are every meaning behind all those problems I face in my life.
There are 2 kinds of world view in this life which are the pagan worldview, and the biblical world view. I choose to have the biblical worldview in order to gain my freedom when I grow up. I will keep on improving my life so that I can succeed in God.
