Revolution of Peace and Conquest (112H03)

The peace at any price and conquest at any cost are both the two side of the same bad coin. This means that both extreme of peace at any price and conquest at any cost are not good. People who practice the concept of peace at any price are those people who are willing to avoid war, fight, or argument at any price to solve problems quickly. For example, a parent who practices this concept will give or buy anything to his disobedient child to obey; as a consequence, the child will be spoiled and will never learn to obey in the right way. On the other hand, people who practice the concept of conquest at any cost are those people who are ready to use force or even violence to also solve problems quickly. In the case of the disobedient child, the parent will carry sticks being ready to beat his child anytime the child disobey him; as a consequence, bitterness and hatred is developed in the child which will indirectly build the sense of revenge and brutality. When we analyze deeper into those two extreme, we could learn that they actually share the same negativity. Both of the extreme has the same idea to solve a problem quickly and simply without the need of consideration despite of the after effect; therefore, we could infer that they are practicing the idea of revolution where problems are solved by quick fix.
In the world today, we can see that many people tend solve problems and live by the idea of the revolutionary quick fix since this concept could be applied in almost all areas of life. People solve problems and live having either the concept of peace at any price or conquest at any cost. They don't realize that they are not being considerate to the after effect of their solution such that they might have solve their problems in present state, but the problem could arise again in the future where it becomes bigger. One of the examples is the politicians and the government members who corrupted without considering the consequence of their action. In present state, they may have solved all their financial problems using that corrupted money, but in the future they might get caught and even imprisoned as a criminal.
People should first understand that all actions have consequences such that what they do in the present state including how they solve problems will affect themselves and even others in the future. Therefore, they should consider the future and find a wise and good way to solve their problem. For instance, in a common case where we face a problem with other people, we should try to always solve the problem by communication in advance since almost all problems could generally be solved by wise communications. Such method of problem solving is practiced by Christianity in terms of reformation where all consequence has been taken consideration. Although the reformation process could be slow and more challenging in the present state, the end result will be satisfying and problems will be fully solved in a way that it will not create a negative after effect.
As a personal application, back then I practice the concept of revolutionary quick fix, especially in the area of peace at any cost by cheating my friend's homework. I was too lazy to do all my homework; therefore, I copied my friend's work in order to "pursue peace" with my teacher. I didn't realize that my action create a negative after effect in the future. When the test comes, I could not do most of the questions; I realized that this is the consequence of my quick fix action back then when I did not do my homework myself.
As a conclusion, peace at any price and conquest at any cost shared the same negative concept of revolutionary quick fix. This seems like an irony since peace at any price and conquest at any cost are two opposite extremes in the first glance. Many people today practice either one of these concept without realizing that quick fix will never fully solve their problem in the future. The only way to fully solve their problem is by the slow process of reformation where there will be no negative after effect since it has gone through considerations. The end result of the reformation process is always of higher quality compared to the quick fix process although it may be slower.
