Few years after the flood, Noah’s family develop and put up 70 nations. They flourish well and have a really peaceful life in that city. God bless the generations of Noah and we can see that God fulfill His promise to develop the human kind starting from Noah. For the self application, I learned that God never ever forgets His promises and He will fulfill and he will do what He have said. God never lies, though sometimes I think that God always make fake promises, but I need to be patient in order to receive my blessing that God have promises.
After the nations flourished, Nimrod think that the cities are not safe and they are afraid if there will be another flood that will come. Instead of believing God that He will protect them, they decide to move out from the sanctuary or the mountain to the desert. We can see that the sins start from this point where people are lack of faith and being ungrateful to God. In the Bible it’s said that they are moving to the east. In the other word, east means the sin. Therefore, the nations are moving to the sins. For the self application, I relies that I always worry about my future, and today I make a decision that I will not worry. I need to have faith in God, and I will belief that God will protect me always and I shall not worry.
After the nations move to the dessert and build a tower for their solution fearing the flood will come. They choose the tower as their solution rather than having faith in God that He will protect them from any chaos. The tower is build with fake materials such as fake stone or bricks, and fake mortar or asphalt, and etcetera. The word fake means that it’s made by the sons of man, and not the son of God. God is not satisfied by their action and make a chaos in the building by making everybody to speak different language. The building fails and the people scatter all around the earth. For the self application, I knew that I can never hide from God’s plan. I relies that I must not lie. Though I lie, God will know it because God knows everything. I must always tell the truth and hide nothing to anyone. If I hide things, and make bad plans, God will make a chaos in my life.
